About natural style trees

Trees grown for as natural look are less dense than what is commonly found on tree farms in the area. Natural-style trees require less (ideally no) pesticides or herbicides due to increased airflow and light penetrance. Also called “European Style” trees, because the European Union has banned many chemical applications that are used to produce dense vegetation.

Natural trees achieve a standard of beauty unmatched by dense trees. The balance of symmetry and asymmetry is found throughout the natural world and is showcased in these trees.

Natural trees are ideal for ornaments. You’ll find you can bring back the heirloom ornaments that haven’t fit in the trees the past few years.

• Wear warm clothing. Lavender Hill often has a breeze. Walk to the top of the hill to enjoy the view of Mt. Agamenticus!

• Your farm visit will be in our fields.  Be sure to wear the appropriate comfortable footwear. Heels are not advised.
